A registered charity established in 1994 and delivering money and debt advice services by phone to people experiencing financial difficulties. Our service is independent, confidential and free of charge to the client.
We aim to increase people’s knowledge about money, to develop their money management skills and to help them deal with debt. Money and debt problems can be very stressful and our expert advice service gives people the reassurance and support they need as well as practical help to resolve their difficulties.
money advice plus services (MAPS) works with a range of partners and public sector organisations, including social housing landlords and utility companies, who fund our money and debt advice service to better support their residents and customers.
We comply with the Quality Mark standards set by the Legal Services Commission and are members of the Institute of Money Advisers (IMA) and Advice UK.
